Slat Seat Details:  Seats are shaped with a band saw then glued and fastened to solid hardwood supports.  Seats are then trimmed and sanded prior to chair assembly.

Rush Seat Details:  Seats are hand woven of natural sea grass.  The sea grass husk is dried and twisted.  It is hand woven to a solid hardwood frame.  Over time, sea grass may change color as light exposure and drying will cause the natural material to turn a more golden color.
